R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Scott Campbell is retiring as superintendent of the |
|
|
East Chambers Independent School District in the summer of 2025, |
|
|
drawing to a close an exemplary tenure that has spanned 28 years; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of East Chambers High School, |
|
|
Mr. Campbell holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's |
|
|
degree in school administration from Lamar University; in the |
|
|
course of his 41 years as an educator, he has been with East |
|
|
Chambers ISD for more than three decades; he also served as |
|
|
superintendent of High Island ISD for two years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering commitment to the students, |
|
|
faculty, and staff of East Chambers ISD, Scott Campbell has led the |
|
|
way in fostering a supportive and challenging educational |
|
|
environment, and he may indeed reflect with pride on a career well |
|
|
spent as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Scott Campbell on his retirement as |
|
|
superintendent of the East Chambers Independent School District and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Campbell as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
