R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The family and friends of Benjamin Jay Thompson |
|
Henderson of Jacksboro suffered an immeasurable loss with his |
|
passing on February 8, 2025, at the age of 39; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Jerry and Jean Henderson, Ben Henderson |
|
was born on December 23, 1985, and he grew up with the companionship |
|
of a sister, Hannah; he graduated from Jacksboro High School in |
|
2004; a man of faith, he was a valued member of St. Thomas Anglican |
|
Church in Jacksboro; and |
|
WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Ben Henderson |
|
leaves behind numerous friends and loved ones whose lives are far |
|
richer for having known him, and he will always hold a treasured |
|
place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Benjamin Jay |
|
Thompson Henderson and extend sincere condolences to the members of |
|
his family: to his parents, Jerry and Jean Henderson; to his sister, |
|
Hannah Henderson; to his aunts and uncles, Paula Koehler and her |
|
husband, Roger, John Thompson, and Carla Beth Horton and her |
|
husband, Dudley; to his cousins, Pete Koehler, Emily Ledwig, |
|
Michael Koehler, Ellissa Burr, and Derek Horton; and to his many |
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ben |
|
Henderson. |
