H.R. No. 336

	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Proud residents of Aransas County are gathering in
	Austin on February 26, 2025, to celebrate Aransas County Day at the
	State Capitol; and
	WHEREAS, Located along the Gulf Coast, Aransas County boasts
	a rich history and exceptional natural beauty; the community of
	Rockport-Fulton, known for its coastal charm and commitment to
	conservation, is the gateway to the Aransas National Wildlife
	Refuge, which serves as the wintering grounds for the endangered
	whooping crane; and
	WHEREAS, The county currently benefits from the tourism and
	commercial and recreational fishing industries, and it is also
	taking part in a statewide oyster mariculture program; a growing
	small business sector also contributes to the region's economic
	vitality; the educational institutions, local leadership, and
	workforce initiatives reflect a strong commitment to progress,
	innovation, and preparing future generations for success; and
	WHEREAS, Aransas County has earned a well-deserved
	reputation as a vibrant and resilient community, and its citizens
	may take great pride in their continuing contributions to the story
	of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
	Legislature hereby recognize February 26, 2025, as Aransas County
	Day at the State Capitol and extend to the visiting delegation
	sincere best wishes for a meaningful and memorable stay in Austin.
