R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Andrea Richardson retired as chief executive |
|
officer of Bluebonnet Trails Community Services on December 31, |
|
2024, drawing to a close two decades of exemplary service with the |
|
Central Texas organization; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Richardson took the helm of Bluebonnet Trails |
|
Community Services as executive director in 2007; she achieved |
|
great distinction in the role, demonstrating strong leadership |
|
skills and an effective hands-on approach in overseeing the |
|
nonprofit's services to its eight-county region, which includes |
|
roughly a dozen rural communities, the Georgetown San Gabriel |
|
Crisis Center, and the Bastrop and Elgin Independent School |
|
Districts; and |
|
WHEREAS, Over the course of her tenure, Ms. Richardson helped |
|
expand the reach of BTCS and introduced new mental health and autism |
|
programs for youth; headquartered in Round Rock, the organization |
|
offers a wide range of programs that offer support to those in need, |
|
including early childhood intervention, crisis counseling, |
|
substance use care, adult mental health treatment, family health |
|
care, and employment and housing assistance; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated efforts, Andrea Richardson |
|
has made a lasting, positive difference in the lives of countless |
|
area Texans, and she may indeed reflect with pride on a job well |
|
done as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her life; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Andrea Richardson on her |
|
retirement as chief executive officer of Bluebonnet Trails |
|
Community Services and extend to her sincere best wishes for the |
|
future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Richardson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
