R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Chris Bower, the lead pastor of West Isle |
|
|
Presbyterian Church in Galveston, is serving as Pastor of the Day |
|
|
for the Texas House of Representatives on March 6, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Hailing from Mississippi, Pastor Bower was called to |
|
|
the ministry when he was 18 years old; he has since resided and |
|
|
ministered in 10 states and 2 foreign countries, and he has led |
|
|
mission teams across the globe; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Blessed with a fine family that includes his wife, |
|
|
Krista, and their three children, Roman, Graeme, and Elise, Pastor |
|
|
Bower is devoted to his loved ones and his community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Chris Bower exemplifies the highest standards of his |
|
|
vocation, and over the years, he has inspired countless Texans |
|
|
through his messages of faith and goodwill; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Chris Bower for his service as Pastor of |
|
|
the Day and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
and fulfillment in his ministry; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Pastor Bower as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
