R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, State Representative Denise Villalobos and her |
|
|
husband, Ruben Villalobos, of Corpus Christi are celebrating a |
|
|
joyous occasion on February 27, 2025, when they officially adopt |
|
|
their two-year-old son, Ezekiel James Villalobos; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple welcomed Ezekiel into their loving home |
|
|
soon after his birth on February 17, 2023; initially embracing him |
|
|
as foster parents, they have since embarked on an emotional journey |
|
|
through the process of adopting him and making him a permanent |
|
|
member of their family; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing in the Villalobos family's excitement are |
|
|
Representative Villalobos's colleagues in the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives as well as the couple's friends and neighbors in |
|
|
the Corpus Christi and Nueces County communities; a freshman |
|
|
legislator, Representative Villalobos assumed office on |
|
|
January 14, 2025; both she and her husband are chemical engineers |
|
|
with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Denise and Ruben Villalobos have been blessed |
|
|
immeasurably by the wonderful addition of Ezekiel into their home |
|
|
and into their lives, and it is truly a pleasure to join the couple |
|
|
in commemorating this heartwarming occasion; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate State Representative Denise |
|
|
Villalobos and Ruben Villalobos on the adoption of their son, |
|
|
Ezekiel James Villalobos, and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness and fulfillment as a formally unified |
|
|
family; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Representative Villalobos as an expression of |
|
|
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
