R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Ambulance Association are
  gathering at the State Capitol on March 5, 2025; and
         WHEREAS, Founded in 1981, the Texas Ambulance Association is
  dedicated to improving emergency medical care and transportation in
  Texas; the organization is composed of ambulance providers
  throughout the state and has built a reputation as the
  authoritative source on matters pertaining to ambulance
  transportation in Texas; and
         WHEREAS, TAA is led by a board of directors, which includes
  president Brett Coghlan, vice president Charles Hinkle, and
  secretary/treasurer Aaron Castro; the organization empowers its
  members to address the needs of their communities by advocating for
  policies that enhance EMS resources and programs; and
         WHEREAS, Ambulance providers play a vital role in our health
  care system and in the lives of the patients who depend on their
  services, and it is a pleasure to honor the Texas Ambulance
  Association and its members on this special occasion; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize March 5, 2025, as Texas Ambulance
  Association Legislative Day at the State Capitol and extend a warm
  welcome to the visiting delegation; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for TAA as an expression of high regard by the Texas House
  of Representatives.
