R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Ambulance Association are |
|
|
gathering at the State Capitol on March 5, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 1981, the Texas Ambulance Association is |
|
|
dedicated to improving emergency medical care and transportation in |
|
|
Texas; the organization is composed of ambulance providers |
|
|
throughout the state and has built a reputation as the |
|
|
authoritative source on matters pertaining to ambulance |
|
|
transportation in Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, TAA is led by a board of directors, which includes |
|
|
president Brett Coghlan, vice president Charles Hinkle, and |
|
|
secretary/treasurer Aaron Castro; the organization empowers its |
|
|
members to address the needs of their communities by advocating for |
|
|
policies that enhance EMS resources and programs; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ambulance providers play a vital role in our health |
|
|
care system and in the lives of the patients who depend on their |
|
|
services, and it is a pleasure to honor the Texas Ambulance |
|
|
Association and its members on this special occasion; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize March 5, 2025, as Texas Ambulance |
|
|
Association Legislative Day at the State Capitol and extend a warm |
|
|
welcome to the visiting delegation; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for TAA as an expression of high regard by the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives. |
