R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Hininger of the Dalhart Volunteer Fire |
|
|
Department was named the 2024 EMS Responder of the Year by the |
|
|
Panhandle Firemen's & Fire Marshals' Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hininger joined the Dalhart VFD in January |
|
|
2022, and over the course of her exemplary tenure, she has played an |
|
|
instrumental role in helping the agency respond to emergencies; she |
|
|
has also attended training classes to become an emergency medical |
|
|
technician; along the way, she has further distinguished herself as |
|
|
a member of the Hartley Volunteer Fire and EMS Department, and she |
|
|
has served with AMR in Dalhart as well; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A resident of Dalhart since 2003, Mrs. Hininger has |
|
|
worked at Wells Fargo and served as a teacher at St. Anthony of |
|
|
Padua Catholic School; she is a proud mother as well as a devoted |
|
|
wife to her husband, Jared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sarah Hininger has demonstrated an exceptional |
|
|
commitment to protecting the lives and property of her fellow |
|
|
citizens, and she is indeed deserving of this most recent honor; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sarah Hininger on being named the |
|
|
2024 EMS Responder of the Year by the Panhandle Firemen's & Fire |
|
|
Marshals' Association and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Hininger as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
