R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kerri Adame has received a Golden Apple Award from |
|
|
CBS 4 and ValleyCentral.com in February 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, |
|
|
Mrs. Adame has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to her work |
|
|
as an educator; she serves as the band director at Alonzo De Leon |
|
|
Middle School in McAllen, and over the course of her 16-year tenure, |
|
|
she has built an exceptional rapport with her students and |
|
|
instilled in them a passion for playing music; moreover, during her |
|
|
courageous battle with cancer, her dedication to her profession and |
|
|
her positive spirit remained undiminished; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Kerri Adame exemplifies the qualities that are the |
|
|
hallmarks of a great teacher, and she has earned the deep admiration |
|
|
of her colleagues and students alike; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kerri Adame on her receipt of a |
|
|
Golden Apple Award from CBS 4 and ValleyCentral.com and extend to |
|
|
her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Adame as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
