R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Members of the Victoria Chamber of Commerce are
  visiting the State Capitol on March 4, 2025; and
         WHEREAS, Historical evidence indicates that the Victoria
  chamber was first organized as early as 1912 in Victoria and
  Victoria County, making it one of the oldest chambers of commerce in
  the state; it was incorporated in Texas in October 1922; and
         WHEREAS, Located in the heart of downtown Victoria near
  DeLeon Plaza and the historic Victoria County Courthouse, the
  chamber has more than 700 active business partners ranging from
  small, locally owned family businesses to Fortune 500 corporations;
  the members of its board of directors represent diverse
  professional backgrounds, and through their dedicated efforts and
  civic engagement, they play a vital role in helping the chamber
  succeed in its work of leading, empowering, and uniting the
  business community; and
         WHEREAS, The Victoria Chamber of Commerce has remained
  steadfast in its mission of fostering economic vitality by
  establishing strong connections throughout the area, and all those
  associated with the organization are deserving of recognition for
  their valued contributions; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize March 4, 2025, as Victoria Chamber Day
  at the State Capitol and extend a warm welcome to the visiting
  delegation.
