R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, For well over a decade, the North Texas Warrior Golf
  Association has rendered invaluable service to veterans across the
  region; and
         WHEREAS, Matt Rosenberger, then a high school golf player,
  established the North Texas Wounded Warrior Golf Association in
  2011 for the purpose of supporting the Salute Military Golf
  Association; Mr. Rosenberger and his father, Glenn Rosenberger,
  subsequently hosted two fundraising golf tournaments; in 2013, the
  first North Texas Warrior Golf Clinic took place, and the group
  began offering other activities to veterans; and
         WHEREAS, Today, the charitable organization is known as the
  North Texas Warrior Golf Association and is led by an all-veteran
  board of directors as a chapter of the Salute Military Golf
  Association; headquartered in Flower Mound, NTWGA provides
  rehabilitative golfing experiences in support of wounded veterans,
  including those who deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi
  Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom after the terrorist attacks
  of September 11, 2001; and
         WHEREAS, In carrying out its mission, NTWGA serves veterans
  who have post-traumatic stress disorder as well as those who have
  undergone amputations or have sustained traumatic brain and spinal
  cord injuries, visual impairment, burns, or muscle and nerve
  damage; through the therapeutic benefits of golf found in such
  settings as clinics, lessons, and rounds played on courses, the
  association is helping veterans overcome physical and mental
  challenges while assisting them with social integration and the
  transition to civilian life; the organization provides
  participants with golf attire and equipment, and it holds its
  signature event, an eight-week instructional clinic, each spring;
  on September 22, 2025, NTWGA is conducting its 15th annual North
  Texas Warrior Golf Association Mission Zero Classic; and
         WHEREAS, All Americans owe a profound debt of gratitude to
  those who have served with the U.S. armed forces in the defense of
  our nation, and with its remarkable level of commitment, NTWGA is
  helping to improve the lives of wounded veterans through the game of
  golf; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend the North Texas Warrior Golf Association
  for its exceptional contributions to area military veterans and
  extend to all those associated with the organization sincere best
  wishes for continued success with their important work; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for NTWGA as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
