R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
  the loss of Aspen Cheyenne Blessing of Baird, who passed away on
  March 10, 2024, at the age of 18; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Drew and Jennifer Blessing, Aspen
  Blessing was born in Abilene on March 15, 2005, and she grew up with
  the companionship of six brothers and sisters, Malcolm, Elijah,
  Tabitha, Selah, Kefira, and Gabe; in 2023, she graduated from
  Homeschool High School; and
         WHEREAS, Devoted to her faith from an early age, Ms. Blessing
  was an active member of several local churches; known for her
  warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit, she was quick to lend an ear
  to a friend in need and she had a deep love for animals; above all
  else, she cherished time spent with her family, and she shared a
  special bond with her siblings; and
         WHEREAS, Although her days were far too few, the joy and
  radiance with which Aspen Blessing lived her life will forever
  comfort and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Aspen Cheyenne
  Blessing and extend deepest condolences to the members of her
  family: to her parents, Drew and Jennifer Blessing; to her
  siblings, Malcolm Blessing and his wife, Kara, and Elijah, Tabitha,
  Selah, Kefira, and Gabe Blessing; to her niece, Amelia Blessing; to
  her grandparents, Andy and Carol Blessing and David and Jerri
  Lollar; to her great-grandmother, Dixie Jones; and to her many
  other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Aspen
  Blessing.
