R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, The State of Texas is proud to recognize the vibrant |
|
|
Nepalese community and its valuable contributions to our state; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Nepal, known for its rich culture, heritage, and |
|
|
strong community values, shares a deep connection with Nepalese |
|
|
Americans who call Texas home; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The observance of Nepalese Day provides an |
|
|
opportunity to celebrate the achievements, traditions, and |
|
|
cultural impact of the Nepalese community in Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, March 13, 2025, is a special occasion to honor the |
|
|
Nepalese people's commitment to diversity, unity, and service |
|
|
within our great state; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
legislature hereby proudly recognizes March 13, 2025, as Nepalese |
|
|
Day at the Texas State Capitol and encourages all Texans to join in |
|
|
celebrating Nepalese heritage and contributions to our society. |
