R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
  passing of Olga Rodriguez of Alamo on March 5, 2025, at the age of
  72; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Alamo in 1952, the former Olga Garcia was the
  daughter of Santana and Rafaela Garcia; she grew up with the company
  of seven siblings, Juanita, Santana, Ramona, Alicia, Alvina, Isaac,
  and Adan, and she attended Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School; on
  January 29, 1972, she married Pablo Rodriguez, and they were
  blessed with a daughter, Miriam, and four sons, Pablo, Juan, Aaron,
  and Javier; a devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Rodriguez always put
  the needs of others first; she sensed when people needed help or
  encouragement and brightened the days of those around her with her
  sunny disposition and contagious laughter, as well as her great
  kindness; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Rodriguez was employed for many years as a
  cafeteria line server, teacher's aide, and community aide;
  following her retirement, she became very involved in civic life,
  giving freely of her time and talents in many local and state
  elections; she was a faithful parishioner of Resurrection Catholic
  Church, where she played organ and sang in the choir for many years;
  and
         WHEREAS, Although Olga Rodriguez is deeply missed, memories
  of her strength, wisdom, and compassion remain to comfort and
  inspire those she leaves behind; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Olga Rodriguez and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  husband, Pablo Rodriguez; to her children, Pablo Rodriguez and his
  wife, Melissa, Juan Rodriguez, Aaron Rodriguez and his wife, Linda,
  Javier Rodriguez and his wife, Claudia, and Miriam Rodriguez; to
  her siblings, Juanita Carrizalez and her husband, Jorge, Santana
  Garcia and his wife, Genoveva, Ramona Barron, Alicia Zavala and her
  husband, Isidro, Alvina Morales, Isaac Garcia, and Adan Garcia and
  his wife, Lydia; to her seven grandchildren and three
  great-grandchildren; and to her many other relatives and friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Olga
  Rodriguez.
