R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Graham Geisleman, a member of Forney Taekwondo, |
|
|
achieved great distinction by winning a gold medal at the 2025 U.S. |
|
|
Open Taekwondo Championships; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining more than 2,100 competitors from 75 |
|
|
countries in Reno, Nevada, Mr. Geisleman turned in an impressive |
|
|
performance in one of the most competitive taekwondo events in the |
|
|
world; competing in the boys category on February 15, he claimed top |
|
|
honors in the youth under-35kg sparring division, securing the |
|
|
third U.S. Open medal for Forney Taekwondo over the past three |
|
|
years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By excelling on the international taekwondo stage, |
|
|
Graham Geisleman has brought great pride to the community of Forney |
|
|
and to the Lone Star State, and his exceptional showing at the U.S. |
|
|
Open championship truly merits special recognition; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Graham Geisleman on winning the |
|
|
gold medal in the youth under-35kg sparring division at the 2025 |
|
|
U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Geisleman as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
