R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mike Rentz and his outdoor lighting company, The |
|
|
Perfect Light, are commemorating Super Bowl LIX and the end of the |
|
|
2024 football season on February 10, 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The sport of football holds a special place in the |
|
|
hearts of countless Texans, bringing together families, friends, |
|
|
and communities in celebration of athletic excellence, teamwork, |
|
|
and tradition; the culmination of the football season is the annual |
|
|
Super Bowl, which this year is taking place on February 9 in New |
|
|
Orleans; this time-honored event represents the pinnacle of |
|
|
competition, entertainment, and camaraderie, drawing millions of |
|
|
viewers from across the state and the nation; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Recognizing the importance of the Super Bowl and the |
|
|
conclusion of the football season, Mike Rentz and The Perfect Light |
|
|
have established February 10, 2025, as a company holiday, allowing |
|
|
employees and associates the opportunity to fully enjoy and reflect |
|
|
on the excitement of the season; this initiative aligns with the |
|
|
values of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance that define both |
|
|
the sport of football and the company's work culture; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mike Rentz and The Perfect Light have exemplified a |
|
|
steadfast commitment to excellence, leadership, and community |
|
|
spirit through their business operations and support for employees, |
|
|
customers, and the broader Texas community, and it is a pleasure to |
|
|
join in honoring them on this special occasion; now, therefore, be |
|
|

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Mike Rentz and The Perfect Light for |
|
|
their efforts to celebrate Super Bowl LIX and that all those |
|
|
affiliated with the company be extended sincere best wishes for a |
|
|
fun and memorable game; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rentz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
