R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sabra Sauer is retiring from St. Joseph High School |
|
|
in Victoria in 2025, drawing to a close an outstanding career in |
|
|
education that has spanned 38 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Sauer began teaching in 1987 at Bloomington High |
|
|
School; she joined the faculty at St. Joseph High School in 1996, |
|
|
and over the course of her tenure, she has taught a range of |
|
|
subjects, including physics, chemistry, biology, advanced biology, |
|
|
geology, anatomy and physiology, life science, and forensic |
|
|
science; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Sauer graduated from Texas A&M University with a |
|
|
bachelor's degree in microbiology; in addition, she received an |
|
|
associate's degree from Victoria College and a joint teaching |
|
|
certification from the University of Houston-Victoria and Texas |
|
|
A&M; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedication, professionalism, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence, Sabra Sauer has helped foster a |
|
|
supportive and challenging educational environment for countless |
|
|
young Texans, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her many |
|
|
achievements as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sabra Sauer on her retirement from |
|
|
St. Joseph High School in Victoria and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Sauer as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
