R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Gretchen Boyle is retiring from St. Joseph High |
|
|
School in Victoria in 2025, drawing to a close an outstanding career |
|
|
in education that has spanned 39 years; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the high school's Class of 1982, |
|
|
Mrs. Boyle graduated from St. Edward's University with a bachelor's |
|
|
degree in English in 1986 and returned to St. Joseph as an English |
|
|
teacher that same year; she continued her education at the |
|
|
University of Houston-Victoria, earning a master's degree in |
|
|
interdisciplinary studies in 1996; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedication, professionalism, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence, Gretchen Boyle has helped foster a |
|
|
supportive and challenging educational environment for countless |
|
|
young Texans, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her many |
|
|
achievements as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Gretchen Boyle on her retirement |
|
|
from St. Joseph High School in Victoria and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Boyle as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
