R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Jerk Shack in San Antonio has been recognized |
|
|
with a 2024 MICHELIN Bib Gourmand Award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The MICHELIN Bib Gourmand Awards serve to showcase |
|
|
restaurants that offer an exceptional dining experience at an |
|
|
affordable price; Bib Gourmand honorees feature a variety of |
|
|
culinary tastes and styles, but all share an emphasis on simple yet |
|
|
flavorful cooking that provides diners with high-quality fare and |
|
|
good value; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A gourmet Caribbean fusion restaurant, The Jerk |
|
|
Shack was among four San Antonio establishments that were selected |
|
|
for the award by MICHELIN inspectors in 2024; together, these |
|
|
businesses are helping to further the Alamo City's reputation as a |
|
|
vibrant culinary destination; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With its receipt of this prestigious honor, The Jerk |
|
|
Shack has established itself as a shining star in the San Antonio |
|
|
restaurant scene, and its management and staff may indeed take |
|
|
pride in this impressive achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate The Jerk Shack on earning a 2024 |
|
|
MICHELIN Bib Gourmand Award and extend to all those associated with |
|
|
the restaurant sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the restaurant as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
