R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Elizabeth G. Alford has distinguished herself in her
  responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
  Representative Terri Leo Wilson during the 89th Legislative
  Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Alford has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
  in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
  service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, A sixth-generation Texan, Ms. Alford attended the
  Barbers Hill Independent School District in Mont Belvieu, and she
  is currently studying government and history with an emphasis in
  national security in the liberal arts honors program at
  The University of Texas at Austin; she has established an
  impressive record of leadership and civic engagement, including
  founding and serving as president of Girls Doing Good; and
         WHEREAS, Elizabeth Alford has performed her duties as a
  legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Elizabeth G. Alford for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Terri Leo
  Wilson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
  in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Alford as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
