R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Meg Keierleber of Dooley Elementary School has been |
|
|
nominated for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary |
|
|
Teacher of the Year award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|
|
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|
|
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|
|
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Keierleber has taught at Dooley Elementary for |
|
|
18 years, and for the past 8 years, she has served as the gifted |
|
|
specialist for the Plano Academic and Creative Education program; |
|
|
she attended Texas A&M University and earned a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
interdisciplinary studies with a specialization in reading and |
|
|
language arts from Sam Houston State University; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Meg Keierleber exemplifies the passion, |
|
|
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |
|
|
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
|
|
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Meg Keierleber on her nomination |
|
|
for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary Teacher |
|
|
of the Year award and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success with her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Keierleber as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
