R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Brooklyn Woods has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Caroline Harris Davila during the 89th Legislative |
|
|
Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Woods has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including conducting legislative research, assisting with |
|
|
constituent casework, meeting with office visitors, and attending |
|
|
district events; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|
|
field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|
|
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Woods is currently a student at The University |
|
|
of Texas at Austin, where she is pursing a degree in international |
|
|
relations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Brooklyn Woods has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Brooklyn Woods for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Caroline |
|
|
Harris Davila and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Woods as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
