R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Dr. Christopher Diem has been named a recipient of a
  2025 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Killeen Independent School
  District Alumni Association; and
         WHEREAS, Each year, the alumni association recognizes
  Killeen ISD graduates who have contributed significantly to their
  communities or professions and who serve as inspiring role models
  for future generations; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of the Harker Heights High School Class
  of 2001, Dr. Diem has built a respected career in education
  spanning nearly two decades; since 2015, he has worked for the Texas
  A&M University College of Medicine, and he currently serves as
  assistant dean of student affairs; he is responsible for helping
  students transition through school and into medical residencies,
  and he offers support in such areas as academic planning and career
  advising; and
         WHEREAS, In addition to his primary duties, Dr. Diem is the
  Round Rock contact for Academic Support Services, where he works
  with students to improve their time management and study habits as
  they prepare for standardized exams; he draws upon a wealth of
  experience in this role, having previously served as an educator
  with the Killeen, College Station, Belton, and Salado school
  districts; among his accolades, he has been named Region 12
  Principal of the Year by the Texas Association of Secondary School
  Principals; and
         WHEREAS, The accomplishments of noteworthy alumni are a
  source of great pride to all those associated with Killeen ISD, and
  Dr. Christopher Diem is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Christopher Diem on his
  receipt of a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Killeen
  Independent School District Alumni Association and extend to him
  sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Dr. Diem as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
