R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carlos De Los Santos has been named a recipient of a |
|
|
2025 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Killeen Independent School |
|
|
District Alumni Association; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the alumni association recognizes |
|
|
Killeen ISD graduates who have contributed significantly to their |
|
|
communities or professions and who serve as inspiring role models |
|
|
for future generations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the Killeen High School Class of 1983, |
|
|
Mr. De Los Santos answered his nation's call to duty and served in |
|
|
the U.S. Army; he went on to work as a contractor for various |
|
|
companies in Washington, D.C., before accepting a position at NASA, |
|
|
where he is currently employed as a senior systems engineer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The accomplishments of noteworthy alumni are a |
|
|
source of great pride to all those associated with Killeen ISD, and |
|
|
Carlos De Los Santos is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carlos De Los Santos on his receipt |
|
|
of a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Killeen Independent |
|
|
School District Alumni Association and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. De Los Santos as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
