R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Aaron Peña, Jacob Gonzales, and Matthew Garcia have
  distinguished themselves as the organizers of the Fajita Lounge, a
  unique pop-up event that has fostered camaraderie in the San
  Antonio Latino community; and
         WHEREAS, The Fajita Lounge traces its origins to 2022, when
  Mr. Peña enlisted Mr. Gonzales and Mr. Garcia, two veteran local
  chefs, to help with a crawfish boil at the Squeezebox, a bar on
  St. Mary's Street that was owned and operated by Mr. Peña; after the
  crew quickly ran out of crawfish for patrons, they threw marinated
  chicken onto the grill, and the Fajita Lounge was born; and
         WHEREAS, Nicknamed the world's hottest Tejano party, the
  popular, donation-based gathering takes place at various locations
  in the Alamo City and raises funds for causes benefiting area
  hospitality workers; attendees enjoy a spirited, communal
  atmosphere that aims to capture the nostalgic smells, sounds, and
  tastes of a backyard cookout; over the years, the Fajita Lounge has
  featured cooking competitions that bring together talented chefs
  from local restaurants and food trucks; and
         WHEREAS, Through this noteworthy event, Aaron Peña, Jacob
  Gonzales, and Matthew Garcia are contributing to the cultural
  richness of the San Antonio community, and they are indeed
  deserving of special recognition for their efforts; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Aaron Peña, Jacob Gonzales, and
  Matthew Garcia on the success of the Fajita Lounge and extend to
  them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Peña, Mr. Gonzales, and Mr. Garcia as an expression
  of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
