R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Arthur Shulter, a valued member of the |
|
Kaufman County community and a friend to many, passed away on |
|
February 15, 2025, at the age of 60; and |
|
WHEREAS, A respected leader who dedicated his life to |
|
benefiting others, Mr. Shulter served for 16 years as a member of |
|
the 1st Battalion, 141st Infantry Regiment of the Texas Army |
|
National Guard, and he was the chief of staff for former state |
|
representative Dr. Stuart Spitzer from 2015 to 2017; and |
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to |
|
conservative values, Mr. Shulter contributed his time and talents |
|
to numerous campaigns and legislative causes; he was actively |
|
involved in Grassroots America, where he helped to organize |
|
speaking engagements and to capture videos of Champions of Freedom |
|
award recipients, and he also played a vital role in managing the |
|
organization's website, communications, and Texas Conservative |
|
Grassroots Coalition Summits; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Shulter enjoyed the love |
|
and support of his wife of 26 years, Judy, and he was a devoted |
|
father to their two children; he was a man of strong faith, as well |
|
as a true patriot and a loyal friend and mentor; and |
|
WHEREAS, While the death of Robert Shulter brings |
|
immeasurable sorrow to his family and friends, he leaves behind a |
|
legacy that will long be treasured by all those who held him dear; |
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Arthur Shulter |
|
and extend sincere condolences to his loved ones; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Robert |
|
Shulter. |
