R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The girls' soccer team from A&M Consolidated High
  School in College Station reached the pinnacle of success by
  winning the 2025 University Interscholastic League 5A Division 1
  state championship; and
         WHEREAS, The Tigers' journey to the title began with an
  impressive regular-season run in which they clinched the district
  championship with a perfect record against their league rivals; A&M
  Consolidated then surged through the playoffs, dispatching
  Kingwood Park, Baytown Sterling, Pflugerville Hendrickson, and
  Georgetown High Schools in the first four rounds; an exciting 5-4
  overtime victory over Spring Branch Smithson Valley in the state
  semifinal earned the Tigers a place in the 5A Division 1
  championship game; and
         WHEREAS, On April 11, A&M Consolidated took the field against
  Colleyville Heritage High School with the state title hanging in
  the balance; the Tigers got on the board with a fast-break goal at
  the 30-minute mark, and the team went on to unleash an offensive
  onslaught in the second half, tacking on three more goals to build
  an insurmountable lead; triumphing by the final score of 4-0, the
  Tigers claimed their school's first state title in girls' soccer and
  finished the season with an outstanding overall record of 26-0-1;
  and
         WHEREAS, Championship Game Most Valuable Player Jolee Ingram
  paced the Tigers with two goals; she was joined on the
  All-Tournament team by Molly Marino, Kayla Morawietz, and Abby
  Rowse; the Tigers also received valuable contributions throughout
  the year from the other members of the roster: Abby James, Rylee
  Carnes, Jaselynn Coots, Sarah Carwile, Ashtyn Magnuson, Peyton
  Conover, Lainey Hermansen, Berkley Poehl, Avery Johnston, Lanie
  Junek, Carson Walter, Kindle Kerbel, Mia Loya, Sarah Goble, Ava
  Ravanbakhsh, Chloe Murr, Logyn Barrum, Liz Garrett, Jane Henderson,
  Sahara Ruth, Sully Glass, Cameron Walter, and Mia Rosales; these
  dedicated athletes were guided by head coach Caleb Blakley and
  assistant coaches Adam Ruiz, Jarrod Southern, and Aaron Tomplait;
  and
         WHEREAS, The A&M Consolidated Tigers' championship victory
  represents the culmination of countless hours of hard work and an
  unwavering commitment to excellence, and the players and their many
  supporters in the local community will treasure the memory of this
  accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the A&M Consolidated High School
  girls' soccer team on winning the 2025 UIL 5A Division 1 state
  championship and extend to the team's players, coaches, and staff
  sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
