R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Isabella Carrascal has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a communications intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Gene Wu during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Carrascal has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
and she has been instrumental in communicating information between |
|
|
the office and its constituents; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, she has learned more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
|
Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin, |
|
|
Ms. Carrascal is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
government with a double minor in sociology and rhetoric; she is |
|
|
also active on campus as a volunteer with Students Demand Action at |
|
|
UTexas and Texas Political Consulting; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Isabella Carrascal has performed her duties as a |
|
|
communications intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Isabella Carrascal for her service as a |
|
|
communications intern in the office of State Representative Gene Wu |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Carrascal as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
