R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Fast Track Specialties is marking the 25th |
|
|
anniversary of its founding with a celebration on May 29, 2025, and |
|
|
this occasion presents a welcome opportunity to reflect on the many |
|
|
contributions of this respected business; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in 2000 by president John D. Glaze, Fast |
|
|
Track Specialties is a specialties products and commercial |
|
|
subcontractor that adds finishing touches to construction projects |
|
|
in the Houston and Austin areas; the company provides integrated |
|
|
project management, delivers building materials and supplies, and |
|
|
furnishes and installs a variety of architectural details, such as |
|
|
whiteboards, fire extinguishers, partitions, lockers, and |
|
|
mailboxes; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Fast Track Specialties has been selected as a Best |
|
|
Places to Work honoree by the Houston Business Journal four times, |
|
|
and it has received a number of performance and safety awards from |
|
|
Associated Builders and Contractors, the Associated General |
|
|
Contractors of America, and the American Subcontractors |
|
|
Association Houston Chapter; a valued corporate citizen, Fast Track |
|
|
Specialties has given back to its community through financial and |
|
|
volunteer contributions to organizations ranging from the Leukemia & |
|
|
Lymphoma Society and Bike for Little Heroes to the Coastal |
|
|
Conservation Association and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Providing jobs and valuable services to the state, |
|
|
Fast Track Specialties is a Lone Star success story, and this |
|
|
establishment and its employees may indeed take pride in their |
|
|
achievements over the past quarter century; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commemorate the 25th anniversary of Fast Track |
|
|
Specialties and extend to all those associated with the company |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Fast Track Specialties as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
