R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Oliver Lehr has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative R. D. "Bobby" Guerra during the 89th Legislative |
|
|
Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Lehr has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including tracking bills, analyzing legislation, and communicating |
|
|
with constituents; in addition to gaining valuable experience in |
|
|
the field of public service, he has learned more about the |
|
|
legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star |
|
|
State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Lehr currently attends The University of Texas |
|
|
at Austin, where he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in government |
|
|
and is involved in the Pre-Law Club; his previous experience has |
|
|
included working as a Senate messenger at the Texas Capitol and |
|
|
serving as an intern in the office of State Senator César Blanco; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Oliver Lehr has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Oliver Lehr for his service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative R. D. |
|
|
"Bobby" Guerra and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Lehr as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
