R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Diana Madrid, the owner of Diana's Burgers in |
|
|
San Antonio, has distinguished herself as an outstanding example of |
|
|
the entrepreneurial spirit of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Madrid opened Diana's Burgers in 2019, |
|
|
continuing the proud legacy of her late brother, who founded the |
|
|
locally famed burger establishment, Chris Madrid's; popular among |
|
|
residents and visitors alike, Diana's Burgers is known for its |
|
|
signature burgers and homemade fries, and its menu also features a |
|
|
number of classic Tex-Mex offerings; located in San Antonio's |
|
|
historic Westside community, the establishment hosts a variety of |
|
|
events, including karaoke nights; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, By creating a place where San Antonio families can |
|
|
gather, make memories, and enjoy a friendly atmosphere, Diana |
|
|
Madrid has earned her business the status of a treasured community |
|
|
institution, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her |
|
|
achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize Diana Madrid for her contributions to |
|
|
the San Antonio community as the owner of Diana's Burgers and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Madrid as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
