H.R. No. 1146
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Texas House District 75, located in El Paso County,
  is home to numerous residents who served their country with great
  honor and distinction as members of the United States military; and
         WHEREAS, Americans owe a lasting debt of gratitude to all who
  have served in the armed forces, including the former members of the
  U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard,
  and National Guard; by upholding America's foundational values of
  selflessness and sacrifice, they have helped ensure that our
  country's promise will endure for generations to come; and
         WHEREAS, The many military veterans of San Elizario and Clint
  include:
               ●  Senior Master Sergeant Adrian Soto, who served in
  the U.S. Air Force from 2004 to 2021 and in the U.S. Space Force from
  2021 to 2024;
               ●  Sergeant First Class Alfredo Flores, who served in
  the U.S. Marine Corps from 1967 to 1972 and in the U.S. Army from
  1977 to 1992;
               ●  Private First Class Allannah Sanchez, who served in
  the U.S. Army Reserve from 2007 to 2010;
               ●  Specialist Antonio Soto, who served in the U.S. Army
  from 1974 to 1977;
               ●  Aviation Ordnanceman Armando Ramirez, who served in
  the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1995;
               ●  Airman Bernardo Moreno Jr., who served in the U.S.
  Air Force from 1992 to 1993;
               ●  Specialist Daniel Borrego, who served in the U.S.
  Army from 1980 to 1985;
               ●  Specialist Daniel Herrera, who served in the U.S.
  Army from 1980 to 1984;
               ●  Sergeant Esequiel Legarreta, who served in the U.S.
  Marine Corps from 1995 to 2000;
               ●  Petty Officer Second Class Gilberto Moreno III, who
  served in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1994;
               ●  Sergeant Isaias Ordaz, who served in the U.S. Army
  from 1986 to 1994;
               ●  Jose Angel Martinez, who served in the U.S. Navy;
               ●  Kenneth Wilson, who served in the U.S. Army from 1968
  to 1970;
               ●  Gunner's Mate Roberto Meza, who served in the U.S.
  Navy from 1987 to 1990;
               ●  Roderick Britton, who served in the U.S. Navy from
  1971 to 1975;
               ●  Petty Officer Third Class Samuel Ramirez, who served
  in the U.S. Navy from 1981 to 1985;
               ●  Sergeant First Class Walter Carlos Miscles, who
  served in the U.S. Army from 2001 to 2022; and
         WHEREAS, These exemplary individuals upheld the highest
  ideals of the U.S. armed forces during their years in uniform, and
  it is a pleasure to join in honoring them for their courage and
  patriotism; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the veterans of House District 75 for
  their military service and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the veterans as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
