R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Americas High School cheer team achieved great |
|
|
distinction by winning a national title at the 2025 America's |
|
|
Cheerleading Cup Championship; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joining other top squads from across the country in |
|
|
Orlando, Florida, on February 8 and 9, the Trailblazers |
|
|
demonstrated tremendous skill and precision in their routines; when |
|
|
the final scores were tallied, their exceptional performance earned |
|
|
them first place and enabled them to attain their long-held goal of |
|
|
becoming national champions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Excelling with a true team effort, the squad |
|
|
received valuable contributions from each member of the roster, and |
|
|
these determined student-athletes benefited from the dedicated |
|
|
efforts of the coaching and support staff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through countless hours of hard work and an |
|
|
unwavering commitment to excellence, the Americas High cheer team |
|
|
has proven itself one of the best in the nation, and its members are |
|
|
a source of tremendous pride to their school and community; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Americas High School cheer team |
|
|
on winning a national title at the 2025 America's Cheerleading Cup |
|
|
Championship and extend to its members, coaches, and staff sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
