R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Small businesses play a critical role in meeting the |
|
|
needs of area residents, and it is fitting that the Outlaw Saloon |
|
|
and Grill be recognized for the valued service it provides to the |
|
|
San Elizario community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Established in 2018, the Outlaw Saloon and Grill has |
|
|
since gained a loyal following; the restaurant pays homage to the |
|
|
area's Western heritage while carving out its own legacy through |
|
|
community-focused events and a menu of Texas-style comfort food; |
|
|
among its many accolades, the establishment was named the Top |
|
|
Restaurant in the El Paso Region in the 2022 El Paso Times Readers' |
|
|
Choice Awards; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The well-being of the people of Texas depends on a |
|
|
vibrant, diversified economy, and independent businesses that are |
|
|
rooted in their communities and that reflect the spirit of those |
|
|
unique locales are to be commended for the vital role they play in |
|
|
furthering the prosperity of the Lone Star State; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor the Outlaw Saloon and Grill and extend to |
|
|
all those associated with the restaurant sincere best wishes for |
|
|
the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the establishment as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
