R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, El Botanero Mariscos in El Paso was included in the |
|
|
list of "The 50 Best Tacos in Texas" published by Texas Monthly; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Popular among locals and visitors alike, the food |
|
|
truck specializes in coastal Mexican cuisine by owner Abel |
|
|
Palacios, an El Paso native; its menu features new approaches to a |
|
|
number of classic seafood dishes, including shrimp cocktails and |
|
|
aguachile, all of which are made using fresh ingredients; the |
|
|
restaurant was honored for its bestseller, the ceviche taco, which |
|
|
is composed of lime-marinated tilapia and shrimp; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A treasured local institution, El Botanero Mariscos |
|
|
has contributed to the prosperity and distinct character of the |
|
|
El Paso community, and Abel Palacios and his staff are indeed |
|
|
worthy of recognition for this recent accomplishment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate El Botanero Mariscos on being |
|
|
included in Texas Monthly's list of "The 50 Best Tacos in Texas" and |
|
|
extend to all those associated with the restaurant sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Palacios as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
