R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Rosa Chavez has earned great distinction with her |
|
|
outstanding service as principal of James P. Butler Elementary |
|
|
School in the Socorro Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the |
|
|
students, faculty, and staff of James P. Butler Elementary School, |
|
|
Ms. Chavez has led the way in fostering a supportive and challenging |
|
|
educational environment on campus; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing |
|
|
vitality of our state, and Rosa Chavez is playing an instrumental |
|
|
role in helping students to reach their full potential and become |
|
|
engaged and productive members of their community; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Rosa Chavez for her contributions as |
|
|
principal of James P. Butler Elementary School and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Chavez as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
