R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Myrna Lopez has earned great distinction with her |
|
|
outstanding service as principal of Tornillo Elementary School and |
|
|
Tornillo Junior High School in the Tornillo Independent School |
|
|
District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the |
|
|
students, faculty, and staff of Tornillo Elementary School and |
|
|
Tornillo Junior High School, Ms. Lopez has led the way in fostering |
|
|
a supportive and challenging educational environment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing |
|
|
vitality of our state, and Myrna Lopez is playing an instrumental |
|
|
role in helping students to reach their full potential and become |
|
|
engaged and productive members of their community; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Myrna Lopez for her contributions as |
|
|
principal of Tornillo Elementary School and Tornillo Junior High |
|
|
School and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Lopez as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
