R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. has distinguished himself |
|
|
in his responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Cassandra Garcia Hernandez during the 89th |
|
|
Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Alcala has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including policy research, scheduling, constituent services, and |
|
|
communication with stakeholders; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about |
|
|
the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone |
|
|
Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Alcala earned a bachelor's degree in political |
|
|
science from Texas A&M International University and a master's |
|
|
degree in political science from The University of Texas at San |
|
|
Antonio; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. has performed his duties as |
|
|
a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. for his service |
|
|
as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Cassandra Garcia Hernandez and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Alcala as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
