R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
milestones, and Caroline Walzel is participating in that joyful |
|
occasion with her graduation from Allen High School on May 23, |
|
2025; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Walzel can reflect with great pride on the |
|
perseverance she has demonstrated in the pursuit of her goals |
|
throughout her high school career; a member of the National Honor |
|
Society, she has managed a challenging course load that includes |
|
numerous dual credit and Advanced Placement classes, and she has |
|
held various leadership roles with the Allen chapter of the |
|
National Charity League; she has further distinguished herself as a |
|
member of the cheerleading team, and she has been involved in |
|
organizations such as Future Farmers of America, the Young Life |
|
youth group, and Jersey Club; and |
|
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Ms. Walzel has contributed |
|
to a wide range of initiatives supporting youth, the elderly, and |
|
people in need; she was previously employed as an assistant for the |
|
National League of Junior Cotillions, and she has worked as a nanny |
|
for local families; she is planning to study public health at Texas |
|
A&M University; and |
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and |
|
friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with |
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Caroline Walzel on her graduation |
|
from Allen High School and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Walzel as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
