R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ella Ponthier has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Cassandra Garcia Hernandez during the 89th |
|
|
Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ponthier has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including conducting policy research, assisting with |
|
|
communications, and serving constituents; in addition to gaining |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned |
|
|
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|
|
of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Ponthier holds a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
linguistics and foreign languages from The University of Texas at |
|
|
Austin and she graduated with a master's degree in global policy |
|
|
studies from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at UT in |
|
|
May 2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ella Ponthier has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Ella Ponthier for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Cassandra |
|
|
Garcia Hernandez and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ponthier as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
