R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Destiny Aladeyelu of Grand Prairie has
  distinguished herself in her responsibilities as a legislative
  intern in the district office of State Representative Chris Turner
  during the 89th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Aladeyelu has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  including helping with casework, drafting constituent
  correspondence, and aiding in the planning and execution of
  District 101 Day at the State Capitol; in addition to gaining
  valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Aladeyelu is working toward a master's degree in
  public health at The University of Texas at Arlington, where she
  previously earned a bachelor's degree in the same subject; active
  in her campus community, she has served as president of the Texas
  Public Health Association Mavericks Student Chapter, as vice
  president of the Lambda Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
  Incorporated, and as an orientation leader and student coordinator
  for New Maverick Orientation; and
         WHEREAS, Over the years, Ms. Aladeyelu has received numerous
  awards in recognition of her academic and extracurricular
  achievements; she currently works as a graduate assistant with the
  UT Arlington Follett Student Leadership Center, and she will take
  part in the UT Archer Fellowship Program in Washington, D.C.,
  during the summer of 2025; and
         WHEREAS, Destiny Aladeyelu has performed her duties as a
  legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Destiny Aladeyelu for her service as a
  legislative intern in the district office of State Representative
  Chris Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Aladeyelu as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
