R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Lexi Landrum of Dripping Springs High School proudly
  represented her nation by competing in swimming at the 2025
  International School Sport Federation U15 Gymnasiade; and
         WHEREAS, Joining nearly 3,000 top student-athletes from
  around the globe at the U15 Gymnasiade in Zlatibor, Serbia,
  Ms. Landrum made her debut in international competition; at the
  swim contest held April 7 to 11, she turned in outstanding
  performances at the 100-, 200-, and 800-meter freestyle distances,
  in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke events, and in the 50-meter
  butterfly; she also swam relay legs, helping Team USA clinch 7th
  place in both the 4x50-meter freestyle medley and the 4x50-meter
  medley races; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Landrum is a freshman at Dripping Springs High,
  where she excels as a member of the Lady Tigers' swim team; during
  the 2025 season, she helped the squad capture the District 26-6A
  title, and she qualified for the University Interscholastic League
  6A state meet as a member of the 200-yard medley relay team and the
  200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay quartets, each of which set
  new school records with their times in the finals; and
         WHEREAS, Through her participation in a premier
  international sports showcase, Lexi Landrum has brought great pride
  to her school and community, and she is poised for further success
  in the years ahead; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Lexi Landrum on competing in the
  2025 International School Sport Federation U15 Gymnasiade and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Landrum as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
