R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Cherished memories remain to comfort the family and
  friends of Janice S. Watson Cullum, who passed away on June 19,
  2024, at the age of 94; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Dallas on November 22, 1929, to Herbert
  Cornelius Watson and Birdie Beatrice Sachse, the former Janice
  Watson grew up with the companionship of three older sisters,
  Evelyn, Imogene, and Mae Ella; she went on to exchange wedding vows
  with George Cullum Jr. on February 7, 1950, and the couple shared in
  the joy of raising three children, George, Jean, and Troy; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Cullum and her family resided in various parts
  of North Texas and Missouri, and she always enjoyed being involved
  with her church and attending ladies' Bible studies; later in life,
  she found fulfillment in volunteering at Christian Care Communities &
  Services in Mesquite; and
         WHEREAS, Over the years, Mrs. Cullum's treasured family grew
  to include six grandchildren, Kristen, Craig, Julie, Clinton,
  T. J., and Morgan, as well as three great-grandchildren, Lucy,
  Owen, and Wyatt, and many nieces and nephews; she delighted in
  cheering on her grandchildren at their extracurricular activities
  and taking them on outings to church, museums, zoos, and amusement
  parks; she was known for her fashion sense and her love of
  accessorizing, and her favorite activities included reading the
  newspaper and solving word puzzles; and
         WHEREAS, With her kind and caring ways, Janice Cullum
  brightened the world for all who knew her, and they will forever
  hold her close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Janice S. Watson
  Cullum and extend deepest sympathy to her family and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Janice
  Cullum.
