R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Annabel Curtis has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative John H. Bucy III during the 89th Legislative |
|
|
Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Curtis joined the staff as a participant in the |
|
|
Bob Bullock Scholars Program at Baylor University; during her time |
|
|
at the State Capitol, she has provided vital assistance in handling |
|
|
a wide variety of challenging tasks, including completing floor |
|
|
analysis and meeting with constituents and stakeholders; in |
|
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A resident of Georgetown, Ms. Curtis is a junior at |
|
|
Baylor University and is currently studying toward a degree in |
|
|
political science with a minor in criminal justice, and she plans on |
|
|
pursuing a career in advocacy and public service; in all her |
|
|
endeavors, she benefits from the love and support of her mother, |
|
|
Karen; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Annabel Curtis has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Annabel Curtis for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative John H. Bucy |
|
|
III and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Curtis as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
