H.R. No. 1343
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
  mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Carl and Judy Hagen of
  Robinson are celebrating this joyous milestone in their marriage on
  June 14, 2025; and
         WHEREAS, Carl Hagen and the former Judith Eberly were joined
  in matrimony in 1975 in Baytown; over the years, they have been
  blessed with a treasured family that includes their daughter,
  Scottie, their son, Jared, and their granddaughter, Kynlee; and
         WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Hagen
  enjoyed a rewarding career as an engineer for IBM that spanned 39
  years, and Mrs. Hagen worked as a special education teacher in the
  Pflugerville Independent School District; after spending four
  decades in Austin, the couple moved to Robinson, where retirement
  has afforded them the opportunity to travel the world with family
  and friends and attend many Baylor University sporting events as
  season ticket holders for football and men's and women's
  basketball; moreover, they have been active in their church,
  Crestview Church of Christ, and in the Mayborn Museum Lifelong
  Learning program, and they also volunteer with the local food
  pantry; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hagen have enjoyed five decades of
  abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
  exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
  commitment; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Carl and Judy Hagen on their 50th
  wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hagen as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
