R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
  milestones, and Easton Patterson participated in that joyful
  occasion with his graduation from Whitesboro High School on May 23,
  2025; and
         WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2025 will soon
  go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at Whitesboro
  High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and experiences
  that Mr. Patterson has gained there will forever enrich his life;
  and
         WHEREAS, Earning a high school diploma requires hard work and
  dedication, and Mr. Patterson can reflect with pride on the
  perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; all
  four years, he played percussion in the Bearcat Band, which earned a
  silver medal in the University Interscholastic League 3A state
  contest during his freshman year, a gold medal his junior year, and
  fifth place his senior year; an honors graduate, he was awarded the
  Whitesboro Fire Department Memorial Scholarship and hopes to attend
  EMT school and become a firefighter; and
         WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
  outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
  friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
  promise; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Easton Patterson on the occasion of
  his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for
  continued success and happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Patterson as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
