R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |
|
|
milestones, and Easton Patterson participated in that joyful |
|
|
occasion with his graduation from Whitesboro High School on May 23, |
|
|
2025; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Although the members of the Class of 2025 will soon |
|
|
go their separate ways, the time that they have shared at Whitesboro |
|
|
High has created a lasting bond, and the knowledge and experiences |
|
|
that Mr. Patterson has gained there will forever enrich his life; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning a high school diploma requires hard work and |
|
|
dedication, and Mr. Patterson can reflect with pride on the |
|
|
perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals; all |
|
|
four years, he played percussion in the Bearcat Band, which earned a |
|
|
silver medal in the University Interscholastic League 3A state |
|
|
contest during his freshman year, a gold medal his junior year, and |
|
|
fifth place his senior year; an honors graduate, he was awarded the |
|
|
Whitesboro Fire Department Memorial Scholarship and hopes to attend |
|
|
EMT school and become a firefighter; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |
|
|
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
|
|
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Easton Patterson on the occasion of |
|
|
his high school graduation and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Patterson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
