R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sebastian Quaid has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
|
chief of staff in the office of State Representative Marc LaHood |
|
|
during the 89th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since becoming a legislative employee, Mr. Quaid |
|
|
has contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; |
|
|
handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, he has helped to shape |
|
|
and carry forth the representative's legislative agenda in addition |
|
|
to providing vital leadership and ensuring the efficient operation |
|
|
of the office; he previously served as a legislative aide in the |
|
|
office of State Representative James White; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Minot, North Dakota, Mr. Quaid earned a |
|
|
bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in journalism |
|
|
from Texas State University, where he also led the Young |
|
|
Conservatives of Texas; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and |
|
|
support of his wife, Bailey, and he takes great pride in their son, |
|
|
Oliver; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |
|
|
duties as chief of staff with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Sebastian Quaid for his service as chief |
|
|
of staff in the office of State Representative Marc LaHood and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Quaid as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
