R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Aidan Salazar has distinguished himself in his |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative intern in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Marc LaHood during the 89th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Salazar has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Edinburg, Mr. Salazar recently earned |
|
|
his bachelor's degree in political science with a special |
|
|
concentration in international relations from Trinity University, |
|
|
where he competed for the university's track and field team and was |
|
|
an active member of Chi Delta Tau fraternity; in the future, he |
|
|
plans to pursue a juris doctor degree and continue contributing to |
|
|
active policy reform; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Aidan Salazar has performed his duties as a |
|
|
legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Aidan Salazar for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Marc |
|
|
LaHood and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Salazar as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
