R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Morris Pittle, the owner of JewBoy Burgers in |
|
Austin, has distinguished himself as an outstanding example of the |
|
entrepreneurial spirit of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mo Pittle founded JewBoy Burgers as a food truck and |
|
four years later established a brick-and-mortar location on Airport |
|
Boulevard; in addition to serving a variety of burgers and Mexican |
|
dishes, the eatery offers classic Jewish fare like latkes; in 2021, |
|
Mr. Pittle opened a sub shop, and the business also operates three |
|
food trucks; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of El Paso, Mr. Pittle holds a degree in |
|
advertising from The University of Texas at Austin; he previously |
|
worked as a copywriter and started his own marketing firm; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through his creativity, resilience, and hard work, |
|
Mo Pittle has established JewBoy Burgers as a local institution, |
|
and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing his achievements; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Morris Pittle for his success as |
|
the owner of JewBoy Burgers and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Pittle as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
