R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Isabella Contreras has distinguished herself in her |
|
|
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Venton Jones during the 89th Legislative Session; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the Texas |
|
|
Legislative Internship Program, Ms. Contreras has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; she has |
|
|
been particularly passionate about such critical issues as living |
|
|
wages for working families, public health, and civic engagement, |
|
|
and she has also thoughtfully managed meetings with constituents, |
|
|
elected officials, and advocacy organizations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Isabella Contreras has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Isabella Contreras for her service as a |
|
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Venton Jones |
|
|
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
|
|
her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Contreras as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
